We don't want to sell you anything - our unconventional business model
We don't believe in luring customers with lurid offers and empty words. Promises such as "lose five kilos in just three weeks by this simple trick" are morally questionable and can contribute to eating disordered behavior. We tailor training plans individually to the customer instead of imposing the same program on everyone. We reject any cooperation with dietary supplement manufacturers. Advertising contracts can help trainers recommend products that are not in the best interest of the customer. In addition, the intake of dietary supplements should be clarified with doctors instead of blindly trusting the sponsored recommendations of fitness trainers or influencers.
We offer high-quality strength training. In order to meet our high quality standards, we only have highly qualified trainers and offer the trainings in a 1:1 to 1:4 setting. This is the only way we can ensure that our trainers can respond individually to all customers as well as their needs and goals. Therefore, we deliberately do not offer unaccompanied trainings and no large group settings.
We are convinced of our model - and so are our long-standing customers! That's why we work on a fee note basis instead of binding gag contracts. Our customers only pay for the time they actually train. Our initial training courses are free of charge and include an anamnesis interview. In this way, we can get to know each other in peace without creating pressure or pushing for membership.
What drives us is the passion for weight training and how it can change our lives in so many ways - making this accessible to as many people as possible is our mission at Plonk Barbell.
